Kora became a part of Manuia Rocklin when our Rocklin chapter started in 2023. With an extensive background in dance—including styles like jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical—Kora brought both skill and enthusiasm to the studio from day one. Her natural leadership, deep respect for Polynesian culture, and eagerness to learn quickly stood out, and she soon took the initiative to assist with instructing our Tamahine classes.
Kora’s dedication, reliability, and calm presence quickly elevated her into the role of lead instructor for both our Tamahine and Junior classes. Her thoughtful approach to teaching, paired with her ability to connect with each student, has made her a favorite among our kids and their families. In 2023, Kora also stepped into the role of coach for solo dance competitions, helping young dancers refine their technique, grow in confidence, and prepare to take the stage with pride and poise. Kora has also stepped in and supported Manuia Rocklin with their social media efforts.
Outside the studio, Kora works professionally as a news editor in the media industry. When she’s not editing or dancing, she enjoys hitting the gym, traveling to new places, and spending time with her boyfriend.
We’re proud to have Kora as part of the Manuia Rocklin instructor team, and we’re grateful for the light and dedication she brings to our group.
